I'm more in a "valley of shadows" mood.

I have decided to pray for these people. They are truly lost.

The question that bothers me most is what if they know exactly what they're doing?

The Bible is very clear on this “Even if they know, Christ still calls us to forgive (Col 3:13). Our part is mercy; judgment belongs to God (Rom 12:19).”

I won't hit first but I won't turn the other cheek either.

You don’t have to obey Jesus, but I hope that you do

Turning the cheek is a symbol of non-violent defiance.

In Rome, slaves were slapped with the back of the hand- while citizens or equals would be slapped in society with the palm, open and “polite” in those days.

By “turning the check” what you are saying is: “I am not your slave”

Christ demonstrated non/violent resistance to tyranny throughout his time on earth.

It’s Marxist propaganda that twists those stories into wrongful “submissiveness”

Forgiveness is necessary and commanded and important, and setting boundaries and trusting isn't the same as forgiveness.

Agreed

The faster that things change, the more they stay the same.

I would prefer he correct them Not just forgive for them to carry on. Sometimes I miss the Old Testament God.

"Fr, it's wild how lost some folks can be. Sending good vibes and forgiveness their way. 🙏✨ #Blessed"

🙌👏

One of the most powerful statements Christ ever made. If you look throughout the Gospels, Christ was able to forgive people's sins directly. Yet in His crucifixion, He appealed to the father for forgiveness. This highlights the dual nature of Christ, being fully God and fully man. In His divinity, Christ had the authority to forgive sins, but in His humanity He had to implore the Father, showing that even in His weakest state, at the height of being persecuted, Christ still loved His enemies.

I forgot to add, I've been praying for you nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqtxwaehxw309anxjmr5v4ezumn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tmwwp6kyvtjw3k8zcmp8pervct409shwdtwx45rxmp4xseryerdx3ehy7f4v3axvet9xsmrjdnxw9jnsuekw9nh2ertwvmkg6n5veen7cnjdaskgcmpwd6r6arjw4jsqgq6lcx8fc7h0p8t4ya9u0a92jnwavqe9rgjwwdw3wjgxfuxsz8rd5mths8c . You've done amazing things already but I look fwd to what God will do in you.

I appreciate that very much brother

“Don’t excuse sin as if it’s outside your camp. Evil is found among all. The difference is this: the righteous are set apart by what they do.” (1 Meqabyan 3:4)

The older I get, the more I look back and realize I did not know WTF was up for so long. I shudder. Time and mistakes hopefully teaches and wisens you. Anyone who would wish for the assassination of a political opponent is demonstrably insane. Not only is it categorically against what Christ requires of us (Love your neighbor/enemies)…it works against your cause by completely knocking out the social supports of peaceful respectful dialogue.

Like the Joker, some people like to watch the world burn. Accelerationists etc.

Absolutely.

Even in the darkest moments, grace can speak louder than ignorance.

Is he referring to $NAKA shareholders in this passage

I don’t forgive shit.

Does the universe forgive?

The universe has no feelings

If for nothing else, forgive others for your own sake. Holding on to stuff corrodes your soul.

How can you forgive somebody who hurts you or a person you love?

I never said it was easy. You ask God to give you the strength and wisdom to do so. I guess you can take comfort in knowing no one escape’s God’s judgement. Justice will be served.

Back to black for everyone. 💀
