I think the summary overemphasizes the differences between men and women, though. I recall another David Buss paper (which I don’t have on hand) that showed both men and women want loving partners most, but down the list there were some differences in priorities.
Academic achievements and independence aren't important? Nah, that ain't true. 🤨 Although, it's not necessarily academic achievements that are important. It's intellectual and educational wisdom that stands as a necessity. At least for me. 👍 I love a woman that can teach me things. 🤷♂️
It's going to vary person to person... Most of these I agree with, some not so much.
My honest take:
Sex drive is the last on the list, mine is low. Sense of humour, loyalty/commitment, and nurturing personality are far more important when looking for something serious.
Lots of social media followers are a massive red flag though. Same with designer wardrobe. From experience, these are sus.
Career and wealth can be a bonus, but not a dealbreaker..

Couldn't agree more with the social media follower aspect. They're usually the most selfish and have no genuine interest in getting to know you. Or maybe I just have bad taste in women. 😅🤷♂️
