Raw jersey milk with shilajit, raw honey and methylene blue. I take it after cordyceps and dessicated bulls balls.
Discussion
Ah nice… I bet the shilajit pairs nicely with the bulls balls 😋
Moon milk just tastes like honeyed milk.
You can't taste dessicated organs.
Ah nice I’ll check it out. Honestly though, the thing that would improve my health more than anything would be getting a solid nights sleep on a regular basis. An 8-month old and random night shifts have pretty much destroyed any semblance of sleep hygiene for me though.
Thoughts on natural sleep supplements?
I came up with moon milk to replace coffee after learning, amongst other negative effects, that caffeine has a 1/4 life of 12 hours.
Deep sleep potion that you can take forever and will only improve your health:
- magnesium glycinate
- l-theanine
- glycine
- raw honey
Add the above to a small glass of raw kefir. Drink at sunset. No calories after.
Eliminate all bright light from the home after sunset. Blue light filters on all devices. Ensure room is cold at night. Ensure proper nose breathing (no snoring).
For folks with metabolic syndrome, fasting can accelerate the journey to deep sleep.
Upon waking, immediately go get sun in your eyes and on your skin. Shirtless (or more) is best. Drink salted water and stand in the sun for a few minutes.
Then have moon milk. Try out cordyceps if you haven't.
Quit drinking alcohol, if that's a regularity for you. Alcohol and caffeine obliterate circadian rythm way more than blue light.
I have a lot of work to do 👀
I drink a ton of coffee. Have been thinking about cutting back for a while. I think I’ll start with the caffeine and alcohol and give that sleep potion a shot. Thanks 🤙
