Personally I consider zaps to be rude. Would you hand your friend spare change in the middle of a conversation just because they said something you like?

Fountain.fm is a stop gap measure for me. Still working out self hosted kinks. Also I am 100% google free and have been for awhile. Also they never respond to anything. Their team is tiny.

I understand what you mean same here would love to #zap some of their artist I dig. but their apps not up to snuff. I have mixed feelings about Zapping in all honesty, some people might value things differently however.
So why are you on nostr then with NPUB NSEC.. Plenty of places to sign in with your email addresses and press like 👍 and chat....
Nostr is my home. Manual zaps are welcome and my lightning wallet address is listed on my profile. I do not connect my nostr account to my lightning wallet, because it is not a feature, but a privacy and security flaw in protocol design.
Also creating a nostr app for linux launching next year. So there is that too...
For me I'm on Nostr because I got banned everywhere else.
That being said I prefer onchain payments over Zaps because to me Zaps feel like a proxy for Bitcoin rather than a settled payment.
