A2/A2 raw milk is legitimately worth your time to understand.
There is a molecular difference at the 67th position of the amino acid profile of A1 vs A2 where all the difference matters. A1 creates something called beta casa morphine (bcm) which is actually an opiate and A2 does not. BCM-7 has been referred to as the devil in milk for this reason (check out the book by the same name).
The reason there is confusion and why this is not more publicly aware is 2 reasons:
Even though A2 cows are the original cow or provide the original cow’s milk, their difference was discovered AFTER the label of A1 cows was already given to the newer mutation of cows to A1.
A1 cows produce more milk so it makes more sense economically for farmers and big retailers.
If you can get Raw A2/A2 milk get as much as you can.
