If I make a "come to work here cafe", every table gets the same 29" external monitor. You pay for time seated, coffee and good sandwiches are free.

YES

I can see this. This actually sounds cool.

add matcha for non coffee drinkers, make it bitcoiner and nostrich friendly and I can totally see this working

oh an each table gets their own dedicated ethernet (on separate subnets that can't talk to each other) and power sockets! that's also a must.

and there need to be 4 premium tables, reserved to major bitcoin & nostr FOSS contributors when they're in town.

We can call it the "Sats, Stacks, Sipping & Socializing" cafe!

These terms are acceptable.

sounds like a coworking

I Dont Need A Seat For Coffee Or Sandwiches. Lol

Some people will get fat by relentlessly optimizing their benefit from this deal 😅

Sounds like a time cafe or anti-cafe.

No monitors? That's BS.

In more advanced countries people have computers where you just fold up the monitor from the keyboard pretty awesome huh.

Lol, if you think that is productive, you don't know what productivity is.

I'll be there

Nice, but please don't promote having coffee, or worse cappuccino, while eating a sandwich.

Free lunches are a lie

Those places exist and are called co-working.

Yes. We call them colo (colocated) workspaces here.

Do they rent by the hour? We don't have those here :(

Boston? They absolutely have them there

If you build it, they will come...

Maybe a monitor in the table, too. People will play games or develop games for it.

Sounds like a good idea.

Like the early video games pong, asteroids Qix had sit down versions and the game would flip for the opponent or the game was developed with a horizontal Fiat screen. USB c to HDMI also for mobile phones.

They tried this in San Francisco and it was awesome, but they ended up going out of business. Only lasted a few years.
