today is a hard day with the toddler.
i remind myself this is the exception, not the rule and it is mostly magic.
even on hard days the giggles are perfection & his love of little brother makes up for all faults.

We had some serious hysterical giggles (big one laughing at the small one making funny noises) and lots love of today. But yes, there are hard days and I feel guilty for having them so close together. We give them our best. 💛

My wife went to a new mother’s group, and one time she admitted sometimes she wanted to throw our baby out the window.
The way she told it, the other new mothers were shocked. Then slowly began admitting they hated themselves for feeling the same way.
Then they all became super-close friends.
Parenthood is a test, and you won’t succeed a lot of the time.
For myself, the important thing is not to try to change your children.
They are there to change you.
I'm feeling this so hard. My little guy is very determined on every little thing. Im not sure I've ever seen him relent once he's taken a position on something and my wife takes the brunt of it. God bless her. But wow, when his sweetness, gentleness, and thoughtfulness shines through its like seeing a miracle in person.
our little honey jumps back and forth and back and forth and back and forth... trying things on for size. most days are beautiful days. sometimes lack of sleep or the 17th time in a row will get me 😂❤️ all out of love, for sure. nothing better than my honeys.
