I recently also started downloading music again. That can be easily done with a Youtube to mp3 converter.

Check out PipePipe App. It let's you search, watch and download all YouTube content without any adds.
Yes but quality is not great from YouTube usually. I have try Lidarr to automate a bit the work of getting and sorting new music but it's barely working if not completely broken.
I don't know an wasy way to get, retag, rename and sort music easily. Once sorted my media center server (Jellyfin) is quite good at indexing and streaming the content.
So, how to get the highest quality music? Ripping CDs like in the 90s?
Highest quality is probably by downloading lossless compressed files (legally or not), some artists also sell 96/24 audio files which are much higher quality but it's rare and must be produced accordingly.
Easiest and cheapest legal way is still ripping CD's but it's time consuming.
I'm more into conveniance than highest quality but I want to make sure the source is decent at least, like 320k MP3 or 192-256k M4V (but I prefer MP3 only), from YouTube it's usually m4v 128k at best, so maybe like mp3 192k I would guess but I'm no expert.
