How much do you leave from the tooth fairy for your kids?

That bitch still owes me money.

$5

That's what my wife wants to pay out and I'm just not feeling that lol.

A silver quarter.

I like it but I have a silver stash for the little mongrels when they get older.

That’s a class move. I like it.

It's the tooth fairy not yet on a bitcoin standard?

1000 sats a tooth is plenty.

Depends if it was an extraction

I'd be willing to up it for extraction

I lost a tooth to a tortilla chip, how much? What if we pooled our children’s teeth and securities that unpaying fairies debt and then used it as collateral for leverage and went 10x long bitcoin!!?

That's what I'm thinking

My wife doesn't agree so I upped it

We did one quarter for the first tooth, two quarters for the second, and so on. For some reason, in their minds, a stack of quarters feels like more money than a $5 bill. 😂

My wife wants $5 USD. I said I'd be willing to do $2 paper and $3 in BTC for the kids

My kids a bit older now, so I didn’t have sats as an option. But you’re totally right- my kids would love it if the tooth fairy left a note with a transaction verification! Especially my youngest- I gift them sats at times, but having them verify would be a good learning opportunity along with it. Could be a good birthday/Christmas idea…

I like it for the bday Christmas ideas. My oldest is getting more mature to be able to focus on the process more. Thanks

Absolutely. My older daughter has a part time job now. Gets paid in fiat- and that’s fine. But I’ve got her thinking through spending/giving/saving splits, and helping her take her saving bucket and move that into BTC. I think it will be a cool conversation with her years from now when she remembers about how she stacked sub-100k sats from her job serving ice cream. Or that’s my hope for her at least. 😂

Solid #plebdad move

Inflation-adjusted amount is 50$ 😅

What are you up to bird ? 🧐🤨

🤫

The what?

Never did the tooth fairy with my kids. Santa or the Easter bunny either. They're better off for it, too. I think they would agree.

They are also some of the most well-adjusted and fun-loving young people I know, so no, they didn't miss out. They're also based AF and my future sons-in-law will be blessed not to have feminist nags for wives.

If I see a human sized bunny dropping candy off I'm gonna assume it's a pedo trying to be crafty. My dad didn't do that Santa, Easter Bunny stuff with me either. I don't really think I missed out on anything.

That's cool. I'm glad it worked for y'all. We chose this decision for now while they're young and I'm cool with that too. I'm fairly certain the kids turn out well not from goofy stuff like this, but parental interactions and upbringing

Pretending is a ton of fun! But all involved should be aware it is pretending. Otherwise it isn't pretending anymore. It's lying.

The only right way to do it. Children deserve respect. Real love isn't condescension.

are you leaving Satoshis or fiat?

I did both
