I’ve received a few strange replies lately. Very un-nostr like.Name calling and seeming negative energy and unkind. Weird 😅🤷♂️
It doesn’t bother me, I just kind of shrug and move on, but i have noticed a slight shift. Whether they’re bots or actual angry people is not obvious yet.. but stands as a significant deviation from the last year or two

Maybe legacy social encouraged this and we have to unlearn.
for sure. in many cases this is true. Often its because people don’t treat digital comms like real comms. They’re detached as if it were a video game.

I had that a few weeks ago. Muted them. Now it’s been quiet. So there’s not that many.
yeah perfect. I considered muting, but i thought i’d monitor it more first. Tend to mute once the trend is clearly established, or I just really cbf with something specific. Normally just a vibe thing
People who attack ideas are ok imo, but people who attack people get insta muted. It’s lame to attack people you’ve never met. Maybe in a moment of anger you let one slip and that’s understandable, but repeating occurrence or total strangers going after you does not deserve attention.
I've noticed it, too, just reading through stuff. There's a bit more diversity of character appearing lately.
Yeah interesting.. Do you think they’re real people or bots? My bias in many case is just that they’re bots, because it seems so silly to me to waste your time being angry like that at someone who doesn’t know you, and that you don’t know. lmao
Lol probably both. The last 9 months or so has brought in people from a wider array of backgrounds, rather than just the stubbornly hopeful spirit types. I feel like its silly, too.... such a waste of energy. Part of me thinks people instinctually need some adversity in their lives. When that's missing, they find ways to fulfill the instinct. But maybe that's just my cope 😂
