If you are looking for new (or even used) furniture especially sofas and armchairs, built like it should be, Hancock & Moore is as good as it gets. Made in Hickory NC. Most of their better leather upholstery options are tanned in Germany.
And I would go with 8 way hand tied sofa or armchair with ottoman, instead of a recliner with the "s" springs as support...way more comfortable
