Couldn't it just be natural that a more intelligent animal outperforms the rest? And then add that they'd necessarily be networked with each other, since they're different and may need each other... Imagine the compounding effects of, say, a 1% advantage, over generations.
they get their power *through* the suffering they cause, and the effects are pervasive, and in all of it, is violence and moral decay. most of all, what they want is for everyone to be in the pit like them. they inflict it on their children, perpetuating the mindset of exploitation, and all the children, teens and adults that they abuse for their own amusement and power cravings.
they are also retarding the development of the species, destroying the education of young people, starving research and development that would increase productivity and the common wealth.

Maybe. We see these effects, and where there's smoke there's fire, but the purpose of the fire isn't known to someone who only sees the smoke. Just speculation... But I have a phrase that I say to myself quite frequently : "all true blessings first appear as curses ; all curses appear as blessings." People always choose maximal corruption. I think that should be the foundation of economics - like a version of the utility curve.
I just don't know enough to ascertain their intentions. They could have bad intentions, but God uses them to harden people against evil. Or they could have good intentions but they and everyone else turn everything good into bad by way of their laziness or inconsiderate self interest - corruption. How incredibly good would you need to be to cause only good effects in the world? How incredibly evil would you need to be to cause only evil effects? The world pushes back, pulls things into a middle.
I'd like to befriend one or a few of them to find out what's really going on. I'm not planning on helping with anything horrible... I just can't judge without direct knowledge.
People always choosing maximum personal utility is a baked in assumption of economics, but I think it's a flawed perspective to assume a complete lack of altruism.
You could probably be friends with one if you wanted to. The gateway experience tapes teaches you how to make friends. Some of them like the click clicks can be unsettling though.
I don't think they have good or bad intentions necessarily. I think they aren't really thinking about us like that. Like a cat playing with a mouse is having fun and getting lunch, both net positive utility. That the mouse is tortured and killed probably doesn't cross its mind. Many people don't give a thought to the suffering of things down the predation ladder. I think we're probably in a similar situation with them. But no clue what really.

I think it makes sense that there would be a fight over us. Living planets are probably rare, and living planets with a sentient species already adapted to living on it is probably the rarest thing in the universe. Whatever is out there, the one thing I would rule out is it being uninterested in us.
I think over top of us like a different layer of reality, a different dimension that we can't reliably perceive with our mundane senses. Idk about if govts are aware or involved.
Yes I think the click clicks are like an insect consciousness. I hear them often when I'm sober right before I go to sleep, it's honestly a big part of why I like a lil bedtime smoke because it's easier to make things quiet. But that's me being avoidant. I recently learned I'm not the only one so that's been kind of cool 🤷♀️ but if you hear them too close they can poke at you and I don't like that. But apparently that's why there's lots of crossover with alien stories. They ones I've interacted with like better to be compared to fairies. I've "met" one but it's not like they come up to you and shake your hand in the 3D. But she's been a friend for me since I was a little girl. Sometimes I can feel her friends nearby too but I'm only close with one of them. In the GT program I was part of in elementary school they often had us guessing cards in our partner's hands and I was very good at it because my friend would tell me the answers.

Do you ever feel the top of your head and feel the hot spot? The place where the soft spot is when we're babies? Sometimes I wonder if we were capable of enhancing our cognitive or intuitive abilities enough it maybe would manifest in a growing up in that direction.... Tridactyl head style 😅

There's some cool meditations about opening the crown chakra if you're curious. When I was a kid I understood it in a much less eloquent way, I literally just thought of it as shooting an antenna out of my head like a lazer beam 🤯😅 I've noticed when I have a really intense meditation session the spot where that antenna/crown chakra is real hot to the touch.

I haven't gotten that effect. But that sounds similar to something I can do in meditation... You know that burning spot where your third eye supposedly is? I can expand the burning feeling to cover my whole head. I pull it like its a rubber band and wrap around the top, like there's an edge, until it closes. No idea if that accomplishes anything... But its an interesting sensation.
This reminds me of my doctor visit this morning. He said, "you can't feel your heart, that kind of nerves aren't there," and I was like, "do you meditate? Cuz I can."

I often search for guided meditations just on YouTube (make sure to turn off the ads). I really like Michael Sealey, Divine Light Meditation, and Unlock Your Life. They all have chakra meditations that have been really interesting for me to go through in recent months.
