Man we really need one thing on a default algorithm that is super frustrating — spacing out posts from a single account.

There are some accounts that just post a ton of shit, and I like a lot of it, but holy crap when I scroll through and 90% of stuff if from that one account, it makes me want to unfollow 😂

There are a couple like that that I just had to cut loose. Too damn much.

Saifdeen posting once a week 7 times lol

I don’t know if somebody tried to implement something similar : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herfindahl%E2%80%93Hirschman_index

Agreed. These days, before clicking follow, I always check to make sure they’re not posting continually.

See the problem is that you’re not following me 😉

It's not the algorithm, it's the poster.

They need a way to be able to drip feed or schedule their notes.

It shouldn't be too hard to create a client dedicated to creators.

Yea I had to unfollow a few and just bookmark a post from them. If I have time after seeing the less frequent posters I'll go through some of the bookmarked accounts. Otherwise I miss the 1x/week quality stuff

I think there’s a client, or maybe it’s a DVM, that shows only the most recent note from each of your follows. Not the best solution, but it’s in the right direction. I end up unfollowing those accounts too, and I wish I didn’t have to.

Yes

Fully agree, like a limit of 5 per day
