You're wrong; people will not flock to nostr because of freedom tech, they will when they find a use case that is miles ahead from the non-nostr internet. I expect for most people that won't be microblogging
its true. the number of people motivated primarily by moral principle is too small for those who dream of global fame.
Still, its large enough for those who dont.
But if the use cases and interface suck that only goes so far.
if you have been banned as many times as me ( about a dozen times from Twitter, probably about 30 times from various parts of the internet combined ) you don't give a shit how bad the interface is.
the only place i haven't been banned from is GAB and their interface was as bad as this for the first couple years i was on there. freedom is not free. GAB CEO and his wife were both cancelled by credit card companies just for allowing free speech on his site.
my sacrifice of suffering with a shit interface is nothing compared to what others have sacrificed. there are people who have been exiled for speaking the truth. there are people who have been assassinated.
and i am supposed to complain that my interface is slow. NOPE.

But with the way things are headed, these people will either realize how serious things are getting, and adjust, or they’ll be naturally washed out. Regardless of talent level. In the end there will be State tech, and freedom tech.
"mass adoption onboarding" is high time preference also. Filtering content towards that end is manipulation. It's a slippery slope that turns asymptotic before you realise it.
It won't just be people wanting freedom tech. It will be people wanting to be free.
People will tend to gravitate to #Nostr for the greater access to free speech.
That's the way #Twitter was in the early days. There were many other social media sites.
But Twitter was the one place you could speak freely. No dancing around trying to be politically correct.
People were mostly polite and friendly. Because everyone could have their say.
And if you didn't like it you could block them or unfollow them.
But as Twitter became popular, in rushed the #bullshitters. Like we're seeing with #Bitcoin today.
They wanted to push their bullshit agenda, and not face any opposition or get called out.
#Nostr's makes the abuses above kind of difficult to pull off. Much like the internet does..👍
NOSTR is different from BTC because with BTC people only pretend to care about freedom in order to try and get rich quick
with NOSTR you have to ACTUALLY care about freedom to use it

My X feed was hacked today. So I just had to delete it again.
I have never seen this kind of desperation before in my life. It just reeks. To force people to pay attention to you and to look at you is just creepy & bizarre(not *you* specifically but in general).
And yet somehow my feed is overwhelmingly spammed with these kinds of people. I am subscribed to Swifties and Taylor Swift and I have to scramble and search to find anything about her!!

I was so conflicted about the film “The Founder” based on Roy Kroc. It’s a highly contentious film because it forces the viewer to choose a side. I side with “The Founder” Roy Kroc. I don’t see him as a thief. The brothers sold him their name and rights and company fair and square. But I have had heated debates with many people who don’t see it that way. This is an excellent movie though.☀️🌬️🧂✨💖
I met a very interesting person at the water fountain and he was carrying a Psycho Bunny bag. I’m somewhat partial to bunnies so I wanted to know who is the Psycho Bunny customer. This brand was born out of defiance but I wouldn’t call it theft. The founder gave up everything to come to America and work for Polo. He was fired after six weeks due to creative differences and thus the brand was born.
The ethos of the brand is inspired by pirates hence the skull and bones logo and states that it borrows heavily from meme culture. They even go as far as saying this…

Well I *love* Ralph Lauren and Polo a lot.👚👕But Psycho Bunny seems cool too. There’s plenty of room for both to coexist. I think it offers an alternative and appeals to those who are anti-establishment and anti-mainstream. LOL.☀️🌬️🧂✨💖 
The people who barely appear in the film are really the reason why it all went that way. The banksters. The brothers could have patented but that wasn't their style, and wouldn't have changed anything because their integrity would have again been compromised by these money elite types.
The end result was the worst fiat food there is, and the annihilation of thousands of little burger joints that made food not so far from the brother's standard of quality.

Like there’s no middle ground. It’s either “I want Mc Donald’s now” *or* “I will never eat at McDonald’s ever again.” I find the majority side with the brothers. But I don’t. I do empathize with them because of how Kroc treated at the end that was uncalled for.💖
You saw how those diners were run back then. It was a horrible experience. If it weren’t for Roy Kroc we would still be waiting 3 hours for a plate of mashed potatoes or whatever.💖
This logic can also be applied to Ford Hershey, Edison, Walmart, the internet, Bitcoin basically any new innovation. There are always trade offs but overall the good outweighs the bad. But then again the fast food epidemic is very very bad but that is something entirely different and points towards larger societal issues. It didn’t start out that way.💖
I feel like in many ways the Starving Artist or New Artist has to steal or at least it’s kind of expected to a degree or at the minimum it’s understandable. But for an already well established artist to stalk and steal from the Starving Artist is purely disgusting to me.☀️🌬️✨🧂💖
