That said, I'm starting to burn out a bit, too, with Nostr+Dayjob and the chronic lack of sleep and excersize, so I can imagine everyone needs a break, at some point, and a chance to focus on the work that really brings in the money.
I'm also going to have to slow down, after MVP. We're all exhausted and feeling unappreciated and underpaid. I get it. Nostr itself has become very tiresome.
It’s a giant circle jerk taking place inside a glass house. The Nostr elites are going to wake up one day with their dicks in their hands and ask where everyone went. They are high on their own supply and will have to hit rock bottom before they take their heads out of their asses.
i already did, many times, and none of them listen to my valid criticism of their apps nor the fact that most of them have very confused models of what we are trying to achieve here
not surprising because they aren't driven by commercial adoption, but only to get their next grant so they can keep on spinning out whatever idiocy they think will get them more grant money

i came back, but i refuse to work with semisol and my relay is now private to gitcitadel
not that i'm planning on doing much except maintaining it, i got bigger fish to fry
building a new protocol and i'm gonna focus on it and not on bridging to the legacy because i want it to be the tech that gets the first commercial application of the nostr design (not in its original form, because i know it intimately and it's retardedly complicated and unsuitable for regular front end devs).

and... i'm back. but i'm not gonna be happy until i can use a real nostr client, #alexandria ... none of the other clients are sane, i'm not retarded and after 18 months i still see them misbehaving with my relay so i'm keeping my relay private to people who actually respect the words of the specification and aren't just chasing the privilege of licking jackboots
