is there any way to embed / include a video in a long-from nostr note? ("article")? it lets me upload it in the primal image upload -- but doesn't display it at all in the post.
Not yet on the videos. Nostr sure if other long form clients support videos

Except it's very hard for your average person to get a hold of spendable bitcoin. For most normies it's de-facto impossible. Even Strike has just removed all debit card top-ups. You're asking creators to monetise based on a currency their followers don't have and cannot get. Makes little sense.
I don't know why this point is constantly glossed over.
It's possible to care about nostr more than about bitcoin, and if that's you then stablecoin zaps are going be a lot more useful for creators looking to monetise.

Yerp. Many people here do not (or cannot) put themselves in the mindset of someone who is not a developer and who does not have any bitcoin and isn't sure how you even get bitcoin in the first place.
To the point where people are genuinely suggesting robosats to normies. It's like robobsats, do you hear yourself?
ya needs time. so few of us are on a bitcoin standard.
So in the meantime stablecoin zaps. No brainer. The average person has a far better chance of getting a hold of (and mentally processing) USDT and other stablecoins than they do bitcoin. Like 100x. It's a better way for nostr to grow for creators over these next few years.
The best choice for nostr isn't always the most bitcoin-maximalist choice.

Well if self hosting the content is owned, if not it’s still on someone’s servers somewhere. But that said, Nostr is cool, payments built into the protocol is super cool for people doing stuff online.
