I wouldn’t recognize any of her ‘music’ nor do I think future cover bands will be playing her stuff. But I do think she’s a skilled performer & business woman that somehow surfed the glamour music biz wave perfectly.

I am not a swiftie per se but I can get into some of her stuff because it's a bop. I'm 42 if that matters. Her demo is mostly (and has been since her beginnings) young girls to early teens. As she herself has grown as a human, so has her music. Just like Miley. Just like any child star that comes out better on the other side.

She’s been in the industry for a very long time, she writes music, she has mastered the art of being successful in multiple genres simultaneously.

There are folks who believe in artists/public figures etc because they have impacted their lives. Perhaps a song brought them out of a dark place and maybe they found community in the fandom. Taylor is their bitcoin.

She is supposedly incredible in shows. Her music is not necessarily in my alley but as an artist and producer of her own music, her stats are considerably at part with Micheal Jackson. Why was he so popular you could ask.
If you look at her track record with donating her money, time and energy into charities that help humanity in ways that are appreciated by humans everywhere, then you will know and understand why she is cherished and loved so dearly by so many.
Her fans suck. I can’t think of another artist besides Kanye whose fans feel so inclined to protect them. It’s crazy. Her music sounds like over commoditized nonsense, there’s no soul behind it at all. It doesn’t even seem like art but rather product that can be sold to liberal white women who didn’t get a kiss in high school.
