The whole point of #Bitcoin is not to have counterparty risk. Amazing so many people still use fiat-bank-like custodians.

I think it’s the first for many. It was for me. Then once I educated myself further I became my own bank.
People who leave coins on an exchange are degenerate gamblers.
Serious question. For smaller buys do you wait(leave on exchange) for a threshold of accumulation before sending to cold storage? Or do you send any amount the moment you can?

If behaviours like that ever went away we wouldn't be where we are now. Generational amnesia is quite a strong phenomenon.
