I used the Apple Cash Card
& I woke up to send my mom $5 dollars for her coffee and my account was restricted.
I called Apple and was told a certain purchase with an application from the App Store is what caused the deactivation.
Only app I ever used on Apple Cash is Primal š¤¦āāļø

I used my bank credit linked to my Apple account. The payment shows up as APPLE.COM/BILL. Now wondering, after Apple collecting their 30%, if they can report me and shut me down.

I mean, I could see them being worried about fraud. Someone could steal CC numbers and buy sats and immediately send them to another wallet out of reach of recovery. I listened to the recent Citadel Dispatch with the primal dev and they didn't really get approval or work with Apple to make sure it was acceptable. They just guessed that if they gave Apple their cut they wouldn't give a shit.
Did Apple not approve it on the AppStore though? Regardless if they āgot direct approvalā Apple approved the app so they must know?
They also approved Damus with zaps for awhile before backtracking.
Cash app will ban people for life for using their bitcoin "wrong". They don't tell you what it is either, you have to guess. Apple uses the same playbook. It might not be Apple, but they are beholden to the same authoritarian forces so it really doesn't make a difference.

I doubt that buying sats via Primal was the issue, as they would have reached out to us as well.
They should give at least a notice to him via mail but usually banks in the USA donāt explain the reason why they closed account! So, they will say we closed your account and left over of
your balance will be mailed to separately on check

I donāt believe you and the reason because I have had accounts that been closed by banks such as chase and citi and they NEVER explained the reason ! So, I only could assume that itās because I been buying bitcoin on coinbase back in 2017 and they saw it but didnāt tell !
