Poor people have poor mindsets

They will never get Bitcoin because they're impatient and don't believe they deserve it

facts

Poor people are usually tech illiterate in all honesty.

They don't understand it.

We shouldn't be wasting time teaching people who won't ever understand it like The Elderly, etc.

You don't understand how your phone works but you can still use it right?

You probably don't even understand how your car works but you can still drive it right?

Not everyone has to be a technical expert to use something.

Mechanics and phone repair shops exist for a reason.

And you can literally just watch YouTube videos and read forums to learn how things work if you need or find it interesting.

The vast majority of people who invest in bitcoin have absolutely no idea how it works.

Bitcoin is not an investment.

It's a currency meant to undermine the legitimacy of The State, and its ability to artificially manipulate currency.

When you swap Dollars for Yen, Francs, or Pesos, you're not "investing into" those currencies, you're exchanging one currency for another.

Most people could probably explain, or understand most parts of their car.

Most people have been feed this lie about Bitcoin that it's somehow a way to get rich quick.

Essentially boiling it down to gambling rather than what it is, a method to transact without banks, and governments.

It feels like winning tho because you not having your savings inflated away

Yes, I agree Bitcoin's not having currency supply manipulation like fiat currency is beneficial to some degree.

Almost 70. Been stacking that shit since 2017. gfy.

Well you're one of the outliers then I suppose 🤔.

the elderly grew uP in a p2p world imhO & exp./

Simply not true.

Pretty true from my experience

Poverty exists because of government policy.

It goes back to the industrial revolution.

The capitalists needed workers for their factories but the commoners didn't want to leave the land and work in factories because the land already provided everything they needed.

So governments privatised the commons and removed the people from the land forcing them into urban areas to work in factories.

Poverty is simply the seperation of man from the land.

It takes only one generation for people to become self reliant and lift themselves out of poverty. BUT ONLY IF THE GOVERNMENT ALLOWS THEM TO.

As long as governments are controlled by capitalists and actively working to keep people in poverty they will remain in poverty.

So what makes you different?

You're so right, Jor. I have had so many conversations where people just want quick gains. They want a casino not an investment vehicle. I have only successfully helped a handful of people in my circle that listened to me about bitcoin. But those few changes their lives.

I'm going to try and not let that happen to me this time 😭

that's a broadstroke Jor

Yeah just like Paris Hilton said, they should stop being poor. They should have businesses slid under them by wealthy parents and have their educations paid for and get handed property and a house to get started in life.

Poor people can not manage money. They buy impulsively on credit, paying three times the original price. They rent homes and furniture, forever paying and not owning. They live for the moment, seldom if ever thinking about tomorrow.

People don’t want to believe it’s as easy as spending less than you make and DCA.

This is a very true point! Whether it is my banker friend who thinks you need XRP, because it is centralized, permissioned, and part of some NWO order conspiracy - hence destined to win.

Or the couple of blue color friends who do put a little into bitcoin, but sit on massive amounts of fiat, because, ‘my advisor guy says your BTC is risky, and I need to diversify’.

I don’t think “we” can save the bankers that buy into that mindset. I ask the blue collar friends what they are diversifying in?

Stocks=$

bonds=$

Real estate=$

Collectibles=$

Bitcoin gives you diversification from the fiat system.

Their ‘guy’ told them, like he tells everyone at the factory/shop/school, etc.

Still an awful lot of deferrence to ‘experts’, even after the last several years.

I also think a lot of people are scared shitless of actually controlling - being responsible for - their money.

It's take time and effort to develop the weathy mindset, most people dont have it. The wealthy keep their positions in life by collecting assets and thinking far ahead.

We all know how the average people function, they use their homes like a credit card, buy the latest cars and spend what they cant afford. They dont even understand what true wealth even is. That is why education is the biggest piece of the bitcoin puzzle. I wish I could have helped more but they do what many others do spend money they shouldn't.

To be honest, most poor people are busy handling serious problems and just don’t have the time or energy for our bitcoin nonsense.

What serious problem are they handling?

Without getting into the specifics, it pretty much boils down to being either young parents or single parents, with a lot on their plate just raising their kids. On top of that, they’re working hard not to lose their jobs, sometimes holding down two jobs, or trying to figure out how to find new ones. These are just normal, everyday problems that become much harder to handle when you’re poor, for obvious reasons.

Much ego, eh?

I grew up not having lunch money

I got my first laptop in college and it was 2nd hand for $50

Mindset has nothing to do with ego

Sounds like you're still stuck there

You’re inferring poor people are poor because of their mindset?

Did you grow up not having a food in the plate for dinner? If not, then don’t make grand claims.

That's exactly what I'm saying.

What about those people all over Africa? And what the fuck do you know about being poor ?

I don’t think poor people will pick bitcoin over feeding their kids or clothing them. Sorry but this note is detached from reality, count your blessings bro.

I believe poor mindset makes and keeps one poor. Poor me, poor you, poor attitude. People like that will never have true wealth.

yes. 👍

nor will those who believe wealth is external

You get it!

I think often of my great and grandparents. ‘We didn’t have much for money, we didn’t have much for food, but we had everything we needed’.

Think and grow the way you think.

poor people may be the first to develop a rich mindset, while rich people are likely the last to do so.

They will be forced to use Bitcoin though
