why are so many people fake. its so obvious they put on a fake version to make themselves more appealing. my favourite type of person is those who can riff in the most unhinged conversation without breaking a sweat. these conversations become a shit test. Fake people are caught off guard and donβt know how adapt their constructed personality to an unpredictable conversation.

the beauty of Airchat, sorry to shill but π― the grifters are easier to smell there.
Be more specific. Ruffle some feathers
Lies are hard to keep and require a lot of energy to stand, truth does not. So liars have a hard time keeping up in any meaningful conversatiou. Too costly on themselves, hence most just give up early before making too many mistakes.
yup
I'll see you in the β then. Au revoir.

Fact. Most are fake. Only a few real souls out there
Maybe, but only if the transition is obvious and without the situation being ambiguous and vulnerable to malicious abuse.
The whole "speaking in reverse" thing is cute until it involves an uninformed person. That's far more problematic than ambiguous statements.
hahaa theyβre not living life.
they need to surf the wave of life.
I believe society as a whole has been trained to be reflexively fake for the sake of complying with political correctness (or 'wokeness', if you prefer). For most, this fake wall doesn't come down until their audience has been assessed for acceptance of individual thought.
This trained reflexive conformity is how the powers that be want it.
Shaving off the pieces... 'We do have this tendency to talk about what we believe in, in a way that gauges what bothers other people and then shaving off that piece. And eventually their is nothing left.' credit Voddie Baucham from probably his last interview:
I try to practice radical candor except for when it is clear the person is too mentally or emotionally weak to handle it.
I was 38 when i realized most people are animals that only appear human by accident of them being an aggregation of the majority opinions around them.
They donβt encounter stuff and think: what do i think about this based on what i know and what i think is true. They think: what is the correct opinion because Iβm too weak to defend myself.
I blame all the micro plastics in their balls. And actually about 50 other things from government school to the world being nerfed.
Guess I'm not reaI.
I don't go out of my way to offend people, I ask myself, "to what end?" and maintain an acute awareness that I may be wrong, and certainly don't have all the information.
That said, I do lean into friction but interaction should be voluntary and part of that is having a rule set, dropping f bombs don't actually hurt anyone, but I'm not going to do it around your nearly 90 year old grandparent.
I urge you all to think of the person who states "I'm just being me" when they are acting like an asshole. We all adjust to the social norms of our situation: with the exception of autistic narcissist-leaning assholes and individuals with borderline personality disorder.
