Whether or not you like it, you simply cannot stop a #nostr event from being signed and broadcast to and read from relays that will host it. That's the entire point. Ultimately this is in everyone's favor. Find some other way to deal with your personal feelings about what is said and the person who says it because stopping the events from existing is not an option.

Agreed it can lead to sad outcomes if people are hurt and decide to leave. It doesn't mean that anyone has to excuse behavior they find inexcusable, but it does change how each of us has to approach it when we are exposed to it compared to how centralized social platforms deal with it.
