I don't often advertise services, but if you're pissed about Governments KYCing the Internet consider signing up to Snowstorm Beta ❄️

Snowstorm is the next iteration of Tor's Snowflake, that helps people around the world access the uncensored Internet.

Snowstorm is an application that runs on your machine that has two modes: one that anonymizes your own traffic, and one that lets you contribute as an exit point to help others bypass censorship.

Snowstorm's gotten major upgrades compared to Snowflake that now even makes it fast enough for streaming.

The Snowstorm guys are still looking for more beta testers and I'm sure they'd appreciate more people signing up πŸ‘‡

This looks useful..

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks. Additionally we should push for more i2p adoption.

I2P is not viable for those with low bandwitdh.

NiceπŸ”₯

That looks very interesting. I'm going to try that.

What is the difference with the tor browser?

Interesting but where is the source code πŸ€”

That is interesting, will take look! Thanks for sharing

Hmmm, were is the source code?

That's my first thought too. In good conscious can't run it until I see more.

My first thought is damn we should prob make Umbrel/StartOS packages and that would instantly make a big increase in exit nodes

This is super cool. Is the performance good?

I wonder how it compares to the El Tor project. I know the dev is in Riga now talking about BOLT12 offers + lightning incentives could create higher bandwidth.

Thanks πŸ™

Privacy software that's not FOSS? πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”
