What you choose to dry for work has always and will always offend most people in some way. It's not ever going to change, and, in a way, I don't think it should. Just take care of yourself as best you can and be open to change.

That's legitimately one of the beauties of nostr, in my opinion. If you don't follow somebody, you don't see their shit unless somebody you follow reposts it.
There are plenty of accounts that I don't follow but all of their best stuff ends up in my timeline anyways because people i follow repost it. which I'm totally fine with I just don't want to see them post all the time because I might find it slightly annoying.

I honestly don't know that just shows for me on amethyst I think they have their own system for reporting then blocking content.
Whilst I like Nostr exactly as it is, I'm willing to build a more accurate "undesired content" filter if people want better filtering options. BoW filter + a six-layer CNN would understand quite a bit of context. The sticking point is building/getting a consistent, quality dataset of labeled examples and counterexamples.
NIPS-56 reports are dumpster-fire quality.
And after reading this depressing thread (not your fault ppl!) I'm wondering how many people on any network even sincerely want content filtering rather than an excuse to exercise dominance over other users...
