Ok. Let’s start with the definition of a health food. What is the definition you’re operating out of?

Foods that benefit humans.

And how does table sugar benefit humans?

Energy.

So leather shoelaces are a health food? By your definition of food that provides energy to humans, you’re arguing they are. They have caloric value.

I'm not convinced leather shoelaces can be digested. If they could, I don't believe their conversion from shoelace to energy would be very good.

CICO is too shallow/naive to be a useful paradigm, as your shoelace example highlights.

Sugar can easily be turned into energy.

Haha fine, pick something else. The point is about energy/caloric value. Sawdust has caloric value. The point is you’re saying that a health food is something that provides energy to humans. That’s wildly fantastical.

Sawdust cannot be easily turned into energy by the human body.

I regard food sawdust, called plant pulp and cellulose in the food industry, as a type of low cost food additive that actually interfere's with nature's nutritional bounty, of which sugar is one.

Haha table sugar has zero nutritional value if you’re going to make that argument. But that’s a neat Google article you found there.

Can table sugar be readily converted inro energy by the body?

Absolutely. But accessible caloric value and nutrition are completely two separate things.

Correct. Sugar has zero nutritional value and is technically a drug; which is why it can be peddled by corporations. I cut it out of my life almost completely and have had nothing but benefited. My girlfriend followed suit and has had the same results. I have a long list of friends that have followed my diet which is devoid of most all sugars and their health has improved drastically.

Some people can critically think and understand stuff. Like Bitcoin. Others just have an agenda and an axe to grind.

Your argument for table sugar being a health food is asinine. I get that you’re a Bitcoin guy and you want to be different/go against the grain, but you’re gonna want to apply some more critical thought to this.

You have lost this argument.

Haha sure guy. Sugar is a health food. Ya got me.

Come back when you can spar beyond your deeply held beliefs that sugar is bad.

Haha your ability to critically think is staggeringly poor.

None of these things are arguments.

I asked you a series of questions that you failed to answer with any substance. You said sugar is good because of energy. I proceeded to talk you that something is not inherently good because it has energy. I named shoelaces and sawdust. You then introduced “easy” into the conversation. I asked you for a definition. You provided the conventional definition of easy and not one that pertains to metabolism. Your claims were empty as it were.
