My biggest problem with Christian Nationalism is the scale of government that it implies.

I'd much rather #Bitcoin Populism where government is minimal, and society and law are shaped by the traditional Christian family.

Small, but big difference.

Agreed. Even small churches split/schism. Imagine the chaos at the national political level. Sounds like a disaster to the detriment of Christianity/Christian love. #DecentralizedChristianity #ChristAlone

Christianity was damaged pretty badly when it became the official religion of the Roman Empire because it them became a weapon to wield political power with. Unscrupulous politicians could wear the skin suit of Christianity in order to get what they want.

When I imagine a Christian state, I imagine something minimal and non invasive. One that doesn't mind saying, "We aren't God and cannot do everything for you."

big difference

Christians are anti government. GOD not government gives the law.

Where in the Scriptures is human magisterial governance denounced?

The sheer acknowledgment of it's existence is an affront to GOD.

Matthew 6:24-26 can't serve two masters.

The book of Daniel- serve GOD regardless of what the government says

Luke 6: Jesus also shows us that things don't have to be explicitly written in order to be true. You ask where in scripture blah blah blah, but Jesus justified working on the Sabbath. This shows that it's also the intent of the written word, not only ever explicitly written." The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath” indicating that the Sabbath was meant to serve human needs rather than be a rigid set of rules.

None of these examples of Scripture denounce human governance. They warn against placing trust in governance over a trust in God. Not the same thing.

Governance is God's design. It is deligated authority. The NT specifically is full of affirmations that the magistrate is an instrument in God's hand to reward the righteous and punish the wicked.

I affirm your point, by the way, that not everything is always explicitly written, except in this case it is clear that the magistrate is explicitly affirmed by God and is only ever rebuked when it svts corruptly and unjustly.

🤝 The first authoritative/Ecumenical council here:

Acts 15:6-29 — Now the apostles and elders came together to consider this matter. And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them: “Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. “So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, “and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. “Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? “But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.” Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles. And after they had become silent, James answered, saying, “Men and brethren, listen to me: “Simon has declared how God at the first visited the Gentiles to take out of them a people for His name. “And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written: ‘After this I will return

And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down;

I will rebuild its ruins,

And I will set it up; So that the rest of mankind may seek the LORD,

Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name,

Says the LORD who does all these things.’ “Known to God from eternity are all His works. “Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God, “but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood. “For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.” Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas who was also named Barsabas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren. They wrote this letter by them:

The apostles, the elders, and the brethren,

To the brethren who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia:

Greetings. Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, “You must be circumcised and keep the law”—to whom we gave no such commandment— it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who will also report the same things by word of mouth. For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.

Farewell.

You asked and we answered. You choose to be stuck. You are loved 🫂

Jeremiah 17:5

Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD.

Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

Psalm 118:8

It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.

Ephesians 6:12

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age

Got em dude.

Boom

Double head shot

We achieved our first significant victory by freeing the state from religious influence. The next, and equally crucial, battle will be to free it from monetary control.

Amen!🙏✝️

Switzerland is getting close to the ideal country to live in

I thought they were closing in on freedom and privacy

We need to respond to the original posters requests. Smaller government that is guided by Bitcoin populism. Switzerland is the sound money capital of the world. People have been parking gold there for centuries. They don’t suffer from the woke mind virus / far left policies affecting most of Europe either. They have strong Christian roots. They are the best of a bad bunch.

Matt. 22:21 will be reinterpreted as a prophecy against the state via faceless money. Just like Eph. 6:5 changed “slaves” to “servants” in light of the civil war.

Christian nationalism is an oxymoron.

"Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall." - Proverbs 16:18 (NKJV)

Just small communities. Religion doesn't have to be doctrine if everyone is on the same ritious path

Fair, but both of those options are better than what we have today.
