I honestly find zapvertisements rather annoying and intrusive.

I dont get too many, I use a custom lightning wallet that has a minimum zap of 3 sats.
I agree, although the sollution is rather easy by allowing users to set thresholds on what they get notified (and some way to signal/make clear what that threshold is). From there is kinda becomes silly to complain about getting paid for trivial to ignore spam.

Yeah good question. The thing that I donāt like is that I donāt have a say: if somebody just pays the zap he will be visible. Iām not a slave, I like to choose my sponsors. Thatās what I can do on other platforms. And if ads are played before my videos itās clear that they are ads, itās just a little less in your face. Thatās maybe my second problem, that itās just too much like the old world: ads ads ads ads everywhere.
That being said, with some tweaks it could be a pretty dope business model.
