Because Responsibility, they don't want to be responsible for the consequences of what could happen without a thief in the house, so they can go outside and feel "safe" from other people who have families, sacrifice your free will, let go of being responsible and let someone else do your job of being a Thinker and a doer, let them write the laws, take your money, brainwash your kids in schools, send them to wars.. etc

No they're not responsible for what happens to their kids, they never were responsible to begin with, because it's a burden and deep down they know it but just don't admit it, that's why they play by the rules.. that's why when you say something about Bitcoin or parallel economics they'll be like 😒, it's almost like they don't want you to fight back, just trust the thieves, they'll do the right thing

Well, you can put some of the blame on voters, but not all.

Elections mostly are a theatre to make the system appear somewhat more legit to the naïve.

There are power structures/networks that are more important, for what the outcomes of the political process are, than elections.
