Is there a way to downgrade the frequency of certain posters in my feed?

I want to keep them in my feed, but they post SO much that it drowns everything else out. I’d love it if they posted 1/3rd as often 😆

I’ve been thinking about the same thing. Maybe it could be implemented in a way that frequency could be set per public key you are tracking. If they post more than that frequency it just collapses them into one post displayed to the user. Would have a little number on the corner of the post indicating your configured frequency threshold and how many posts are collapsed. This feature would work great for some of the meme accounts my client tracks.

why not just collapse selected users posts into just one big note in a certain period of time, that you could expand.

user X posts in the last 1 hour 🔻

the temporary mute could be an additional layer, but it’s psychologically more negative

I really like this idea actually. Would be cool to see #[7] posts as a single post where I could maybe just scroll left and right to look through the images as if they posted them in a single note. 🤔
