Great job Fren and have a great time preparing your 🦃 day meal 🌞

Do you use an air fryer (in general not Thanksgiving)? If so, what for?

i don’t own one - but i like them.

mainly for cooking/reheating things that you want crispy.

How many lbs of potatoes do you recommend to make mashed potatoes for ~21 people? 🥔

i’d do 8 oz. per person.

maybe even 10 oz.

this is of raw potato.

how do magnits work?

Best sides 👀

i am a traditionalist - but i like elevated versions of the classics.

this is my menu:

Turkey

- confit legs

- roasted breast

Gravy

Salmon

Mashed Potatoes

Stuffing

Sweet potatoes

Green Bean Cassarole

creamed corn

kabocha

Cranberry Sauce

Canned Cranberry

Pies

Whipped Cream

Ohkayyyyy 🔥

My grandma always used golden delicious apples in her famous Dutch Apple Pie. YUM. So I did too. My aunt uses honey crisp apples now. And says it’s good. Do I start the fight saying it’s not as good? Or keep my mouth shut

Hmm this might actually be more of a family relations question

Dr. Awayslice?

i don’t even know if i’ve ever had a honey crisp apple in a baked good.

it seems like it wouldn’t break down enough?

you should have a pie off.

Honeycrisp break down too much for my liking. If I use them for flavor I’ll mix half and half with another, more robust apple. Granny or something similar. Love Braeburn but those seem hard to find these days.

am I a bad person for spatchcocking the turkey?

If you are then I am too

this is a great option.

Ok. My turkey is on fire right now, the flames are getting scary large and spreading. What do I do??!

turn it over.

Do I drink Whisky or Vodka while preparing the meal today?

mmmhmm yes, that’s right.

Why does my father in law insist on cooking the turkey to 180 degrees?

because he hates you.
