If a few folks in a bitcoin meet up went in on one for the group, it would be a decent tool that could be shared.
Bitcoin meet up is good. Someone could buy it and rent it to others willing to share their address…
They're pretty cool, especially for multisigs.
It's the sort of thing you'd use extensively for about a month & then not need again for a very long time.

If a single individual is 'leasing' the machine out, it creates a very dangerous incentive for that individual to act dishonestly.
If multiple machines are moving around a group with an assumption that it is on you to check for tampering, it changes this dynamic.
The least trusting individuals will pay a little more for a 'new' seed hammer. Everyone else has access to it at a significant discount.

He kind of made it his product by showing plebs they could use it for seed phrases instead of hammering.
