There shouldn’t even be a default follower list. I always hated that they did that.

Default to paid relay feed such as nostr.wine feed. I browse that feed all the time on nostr:npub17n4cuc4d6y6qh89dekvxrenfkt5s0n49xns00uavjaxpr36c55dq87fyh9.

Another option is default to a curated feed which includes notes of all the people on their default follow list. That’s a million times better than forcing you to follow all those people.
Also, the nostr.wine feed is not shit. If it was, I wouldn’t browse it all the time.

It needs to be MUCH more obvious that you follow people in the start. This doesn’t cut it. Nobody realized they were autofollowing. It’s one of our biggest complaints.
