There shouldnât even be a default follower list. I always hated that they did that.

Default to paid relay feed such as nostr.wine feed. I browse that feed all the time on nostr:npub17n4cuc4d6y6qh89dekvxrenfkt5s0n49xns00uavjaxpr36c55dq87fyh9.

Itâs better than what primal is doing. I hated the default follows onboarding so much that I forked the web app and removed that feature đ.

Another option is default to a curated feed which includes notes of all the people on their default follow list. Thatâs a million times better than forcing you to follow all those people.
Also, the nostr.wine feed is not shit. If it was, I wouldnât browse it all the time.

It needs to be MUCH more obvious that you follow people in the start. This doesnât cut it. Nobody realized they were autofollowing. Itâs one of our biggest complaints.

If it is a necessary feature it should be dynamic, not static. And there should be an option to opt-out if someone doesn't want a bunch of fake followers and bots.
