Personally sign in. It's the semantics of log in and register vs sign in and sign up. Guess log in has been around longer and sign in is the newer one used.
Sign in. Especially if you're using cryptography 👀
Log in is like "reporting for duty". No one likes to log their time at work.

think of logging in like stamping a time card at machine and signing in like filling out a line on a log book at the guard house. one is more involved than the other.
