When people ask you where you’re from and you’ve lived in a bunch of places about an equal amount of time, how do you answer that?

Most recently from X. If they ask, you can fill in more detail. If not, you don't need to bore them.

"I'm a man of the world" 😂

Pretty much. 3 different continents

You invite them to sit down and say: "Now this is a story all about how..."

This is me:

😜😉

I think people just want to know where your roots are from and where you living atm.

I’m a white guy in Japan. I don’t know how to answer that.

it’s always the same long story.. just focus on where you’re born 💪🏽

But my birthplace is the least defining place that explains who I am …

😂 name it

🤣😝

I just say am a bastard child of Europe

Earth

I'm from *insert wherever you identify with the most or where you are currently living* but my parents are from *wherever they're from*

when people ask the question "where are you from" most often it is because they're curious about your heritage because it seems like it could be different from their own and they're curious.

Say your from nowhere in particular

From where you were born?

I say the place I spent my teens and part of my tweens in but really it’s just what you identify with most. There’s no right answer.

"I'm from the street"

I always answer in a different way 😂 If I know I can have a good conversation with that person, I give the long answer. If I know it's a passing conversation, I pick one country lol
