It's a great idea. I also think that integrating the login to nostr.build with a private key associated with an extension and a mobile application we could say goodbye forever to MEGA, dropbox, Google drive and all that scam trash clouds. Looking foward to it.

I like the idea of a user being able to choose what brands can have ads on their videos. It can serve as another way for people to enact social change or exercise their freedom of speech. If I find the practices of a company to be unethical, then I don’t have to play a role in generating business for them. If enough people follow suit, then it starts to impact their bottom line, sending a clear message. It could potentially have a bigger impact than a traditional boycott because it would limit a company’s ability to gain new customers.

I don't think this type of ad system will work. The whole system of ads, planned obsolescence and constant upgrading has to go and we have to move back to quality products and word of mouth. I'm not buying anything were upto 50% of the cost goes towards advertising.
