Do you love cheese like I do? Thankfully I haven’t had to give it up while being on carnivore.

I was finally able to find a market that sold raw cheese. And lucky they had different kinds, sheep cheese, buffalo and cow. 😳

Today the family tested out these raw cheeses! And we rated them from best to great 🤣

They were all so good!

Guess which one we liked the best…

1. Sheep Cheese

2. Buffalo Cheddar

3. Raw Gouda

The gouda would be my guess

🤣 ding ding ding ! That was #1 from all the boys in the family

I like sheep cheese so that’s what I’m going with.

That one was my #2 but so close to #1

What's raw about it? How is it made? I know nothing about cheese, but love them all👀

Raw cheese is made from unpasteurized milk, so it retains natural bacteria and enzymes. You can usually tell by checking the label for "raw" or "unpasteurized" and by its distinct, often stronger flavor and richer texture compared to pasteurized cheese.

Thanks! However I don't see what the difference is in a carni diet. Just few days ago I lowered cheese and namely milk intake due to sugars, pasteurization doesn't deal with that🤔

In a carnivore diet we only eat animal protein, eggs, and some include dairy. We don’t eat any plant based foods - if a person is more animal-based they eat some fruit and raw honey. It’s helped tremendously with a lot of my health issues 😌

That knife looks like it was hammered from the cursed nails that fixed the crown to an ancient kings skull in life to prevent theft in death.

😆 well I’m not sure about all that but it cuts the cheese great 😅

That’s one of the cool things about where I live. There’s a few large cheese coops & some small farms that sell direct to the public. Good cheese is the best!

Oh I wish we had more here, I love cheese

Was introduced to Beemster 18 month cheese recently, so good! https://beemstercheese.us/products/classic

Never heard of it. I’ll have to see if they sell it in one of my local grocery stores

Sheep butter is also great.

Yeah, I LOVE well matured gouda, 3 years or more. Can't tolerate milk in regular quantities but luckily I can tolerate a bit of gouda at least without autoimmune symptoms. It's a special treat for me.

I'm biased, you liked number 3 the most? :D

Oh glad you can at least enjoy a little cheese every once in a while.

Gouda was my favorite but a close tie with #1
