Quitting coffee was one of the best decisions I ever made.

All addictions are bad. If you get sick in any way when you stop that is a cue that you shouldn't be doing that.

I noticed years ago that when I drank coffee in the morning I wouldn't sleep as well that night, and would wake up feeling groggy, thinking I needed a coffee again.

Coffee creates a cycle of tiredness that requires more coffee to keep the awake cycle going.

Once you stop drinking coffee, after a few days, (which cones with a withdrawl headache) you will feel more energized when compared to having coffee in your system.

Caffeine addiction is extremely deeply buried in society, even among those striving for optimal health.

I hosted a retreat with some amazingly smart people nailing animal based diet and circadian practices, but they would still swarm over the coffee machine every morning!

It tastes delicious and it’s warm!

Man, I know I gotta get off the sauce, or at least taper back at the bare minimum.

I’ve taken a few weeks off a few times and it always great until I get a shift change at the day job, cycle repeats & I end up leaning on it far too much.

Caffeine is bad for you but coffee is so good for you that it makes it an overall net positive.

what about luwak coffee? i bet it has more benefits than regular coffee / caffeine cuz its literally civet's poop lol

what do you suggest instead of coffee? I recently kicked coffee but miss it. Is decaf OK?
