Couple of years ago on a road trip we drove from TX-LA border all the way across TX to New MX. Big agricultural… farms forever w zero people.. and windmills.
All the neighboring states are prettier

C'est vrai il m'était arrivé de penser que le temps s'était figé tellement il faisait une chaleur tel que lorsque vous êtes dans la Vallée de la Mort et les gens portaient des parasols surtout ceux venant du Mexique pour travailler de jour aux USA et retournaient le soir chez eux en empruntant le pont qui mène à Ciudad Juarez . Puis de nuit c'est là qu'on peut se rendre compte des écarts de vies de citoyens entre ceux résidant le Mexique et les USA. Et le meilleur endroit pour faire ce constat sociologique est de loger dans le premier Hôtel Hilton qui est presque une relique historique rien que pour observer ces dits écarts entre 2 territoires....

Une des choses très texanes y compris les vraies bottes de cow-boy.. entre autres sans oublier le BBQ si l'on apprécie celui américain un régal de *Dieu* que n'arrive pas à aimer certains gastromes français mais pas moi *épicuriennement mienne *

I knew native Texans who were famous. They all lived in the hill country near Austin. I wondered if it was a requirement to be a famous Texan coz they were all from different fields 😀
There was overlap. 2 famous football coaches & 3 famous musicians. All native Texans, all living in the hill country. Coincidence? Hmmm…
