i'm hopeless about the EU at this point. unelected bureaucrats in the European Commission are pushing draconian legislation to control and monitor everything we do, it's always in the name of noble causes like children safety. how do we fight back these maggots and kick them out? i fully expect them to go after those working on nostr or MLS or adjacent technologies if they take off. where in the world can we work in peace?

i find what they are doing motivating - they have been getting cockier and cockier and are slowly losing the control of the population. They will overreach and collapse.
Its always a good time to limit your touch points with governments and spread them around to make harassment costlier and harder.

on the bright side, doing it to linux and desktop hardware is way way harder to achieve, because without open desktop hardware there is no developers. by definition, programmers MUST run "unauthorized" software.

i doubt they are gonna achieve this before at least 10 years and i think that's gonna be too late. but that feeling of being in a siege. that's real. the enemy, most of all, is the truth about who is behind this.

they have been doing this to the rest of the human race for something like 10,000 years.
so, how to fight them? first of all, recognise that those who are inured and have accepted the programming cannot be freed from their matrix of control without their active participation.
so, restrict your concern to yourself, your family, your friends and your wider affinity groups, and focus on what you can do to improve our ability to defend ourselves against their incroachments. consider that you may want to not participate in the thick of their mind control slaves, and get out of the cities and move to a small town or even get a farm.
support the work of others who are working to build the defenses against their control, by zapping your favourite devs for the work they do that makes your life better
prefer to trade with others in that circle around you, because what they gain, is what the enemy does not.
research history, especially ancient history, surrounding the dynasties of these toxic waste human slavers and warmongers. when you understand the historical context of it, you also will learn about how humanity has defended themselves against the worst of their depredations. about the monks all across eurasia who have always been there ready when things get bad to do something to put a check on them (china and eastern europe are especially notable regions where this happened). and i am just gonna say this but i believe that it's almost universally recorded in many stories across cultures acrross the world that had to contend with these parasites, a) the great flood disaster of 12000 years ago, and the minor disaster 6000 years ago, and b) the many peoples who were told that there would be a "return" of the most sworn enemies of these parasites, at a time in the future, which is most likely very soon, when they will take advantage of the impending recurrance of a similar level of global catastrophe as 12000 years ago, to evacuate the humans worth saving, and leave behind the vampires and their ghouls to have fun staying drowned, buried, and burned alive, by the hand of our star.
