It’s been non-stop grief for me. I flat don’t trust it at this point. Buggy af.
Could it be the hardware?
If they can’t make it run decently on an iPhone then I don’t need it. That’s my honest answer, no snark intended. iPhone is one of the easiest mobile platforms to develop for. Way less variety of phones and os versions to target than android.
I personally haven’t had problems on iOS or Android. I do know of a few poor experiences on older devices.
I hear ya brother. I was on an up to date iPhone 14 Pro, now on a 15 Pro Max. It’s weird how mileage varies. Last time I ranted people came out of the woodwork telling me I wasn’t alone. I know plenty of people have good experiences.
Threema has seemed more consistent, so with another option to let people DM me with good privacy, I bounced.

Keyboard acts fucky wucky on iOS. Never get notifications. Never been in a group that worked right. Threema has perfect forward secrecy and works.
That’s the tl;dr version.
Keyboard too? Only group feature is damn out of control for me though Keybase is being buggy right now as well and actually it’s 10 year old legacy so maybe it’s time to create Nostr version of something? I don’t like Singal and Telegram so.
