You can install Google Play services in a second user, sandboxed, and have almost all the features of a regular pixel with much better security. The only thing that doesn't work for me between my stock pixel and my graphene pixel is tap to pay. Otherwise they are feature wise the same.

If you want the full camera functionality, then you currently need to use Pixel Camera. If you don't have a non-folding Pro model then you won't have the best cameras for that gen. 9th gen significantly upgraded too.
