How do people think they get all those personalized shopping lists and ads?
Checking your browser history and chaining cookies is just one of the very small vectors by which information is collected and put up for behavioral analysis.
A good example to pick at for this are the Alexa incidents - Curious of what she has to say about those...
This was confirmed years ago by OnStar operators.
They even know how much you weigh! Since anything over ~10lbs triggers the airbag and seatbelt sensor.
And so much more.

That doesn't necessarily mean they have your weight. A sensor that triggers at a fixed weight is gonna be waaaay cheaper than an actual scale that can maintain any degree of calibration over a decade as people plop into their seats.
