I fully support farmers.

Whatever the farmers are mad about we should all be mad about.

These people feed us and deserve our total support.

Support the farmers. Support the goats.

Farmers are pretty much always right

u listening to rogan?

I am. I like bret. I’m on his exact same wavelength.

I enjoy an occasional dose of him.

Tho his thought process doesn’t lead me to happiness.

Age is the separator between he and I. I can see all of the same things happening but am more optimistic because I likely have 30 years longer than Bret on this earth.

Being on their side just because they're farmers is dumb. You should at least try to figure out what they are protesting about before you support them. For example, if they are protesting because their subsidies are being cut then I am not in support of them at all.

This is my heuristic. Blind support. Take it or leave it.

Leave it.

Yeah man….I know some hardcore farming Bitcoiners. I’m talking big ass farms in the bread belt of America. They need to take a load of shit to DC and take big dump like their brothers in Europe are doing.

These people also plant GMO seed, raise corn for corn syrup and canola for oil, and they feed their livestock corporate feed. They aren't saints. We must support them because they are standing for a first principle of govt non-intervention, not because they "feed us".

some are protesting end or reduced subsidies, ie gov intervention?

either way, I love watching people rise up

I agree with that sentiment.

I grew up in a family farming area, my dad grew up farming and I worked as a farm hand as a teen and felt and saw how hard it was.

The first farmer I bailed hay for handled the hay bails by the twine with no gloves… bare handed all day long. Most people’s hands wouldn’t last a minute, literally 4-5 of his heavy bails and your hands would be bloody. Hard work all day every day made his hands like leather.

Trust me. We need to make it easier for farmers, not harder.

Regenerative farming may be the way.

You should be v angry. They fighting to stay in business due to authoritarian govts. Food is essential and thats why WEF is trying to kneecap it.

Farming is not a monoculture. I have sold tech into agricultural for over 10 years. Large scale farming and often many smaller farms associated are a huge part of the problem in many directions. Everyone supports the idea of a small farmer. Very few support policies for them. Fewer still actually support them directly. Get to know your farm sources and buy directly if you can. But I will never blindly support a largely captured industry..

Mass farmer protests happening in India as well with tear gas being used. You won't hear much on corporate media. something is defn afoot

Yes

what if the farmers are actually massive businesses whose main competence is getting the EU to pay them to do nothing?

"real farmers", sure, but farming in EU is a weird thing, perverted by enormous subsidy

HODL, blink twice if the farmers are in the room with you.

Blink thrice, if they are in the next room with your family.

This sounds like those "No Farms No Food" bumper stickers. If farmers are pissed at something won't they just quit or raise prices until they are no longer pissed? The farmers buy directly from don't appear to be mad about much. Are we talking about the Dutch farmers here?

For example, Polish farmers are mad about Ukrainian farmers being able to feed you at lower prices, even after all the state subsidies Polish farmers have been getting. What do you think about that?

We all need to be starving so we can more easily accept the "eating ze bugs" thing 🧐

I'm glad to see them protesting for sure, and there's a lot of screwy stuff in the net zero agenda, obviously (e.g. culling cattle because "cows cause climate change" 😖).

But my impression is that some of what they're protesting is a proposed drop in subsidies and restrictions on some nasty pesticide and fertilizer use (I think!! I'm not positive and haven't looked too deeply into it).

In the US, dropping agricultural subsidies would be painful in the short term but would lead to all kinds of net wins. In Europe, I think there are smaller farms on average and I can see the argument that if you're going to subsidize everything from healthcare to education, then farming should be on the list as well.

Any #politician compromising your #food security, or allowing your food security to be compromised should be gotting rid of..💀😠

Amen. And Thank You.

Word

Anyone who is trying to take away or limit our access to food, no matter what they say their reasoning is for it, should be seriously questioned and investigated. Farming Powers The World! 🌎💪

It’s weird. I read the front page of the Wall Street Journal every day (for work), and nothing about farm protests. Apparently there are some folks in Ukraine that need our money though, so I feel informed.

I really recommend the show Clarkson's Farm! It's surprisingly good 😊

Preach it brother! No farmers, no food! Good food that is!

Local farmers #gardeners, cooks, craftspeople, #family and neighbors are the folks that are indespensible to all our survival.

Gift them #Bitcoin

Pay them Bitcoin

Introduce them to Bitcoin

Get them off zero

I grew up with some REALLY dumb farmers (smart ones too)

The more I learn, the more I realize they were right
