I don’t think you understand what virtue signaling means. He’s posing a legitimate problem on top of the already existing problem of turning nodes into jpg storage. The change allowing for the data increase doesn’t belong on the bitcoin blockchain, is antithetical to the decentralized mindset and poses future moral hazards.
