🤢

Stupid is what it is.

first impossible sausage and then impossible bowel movement

Tastes better than it looks, but absolutely cringe, agreed.

* checks stock price* glad I didn’t buy any!

Yeah, I don't get it. Steak is good, salad is also good. I don't need to put veggies and steak through some chemical process to disguise them as each other.

Would you even dare to say ā€œ Beyond disgusting ā€œ 🧐

I tried few of plant-based sausages, and NO, it does not taste, feel or smell like a real one. It is simply disgusting.

The only good thing about these is that the vegans/vegetatives have to walk to the meat section to buy them.

but but but.... 40% LESS saturated fat! Wait, where do the other 60% come from if these are plant based?

What’s disgusting about it?

There's a bizarre fixation with these products on alternative social media outlets. I've never seen anyone promoting these products, but I've seen hundreds of posts like this one.

My best guess is that it triggers conservative disgust of things they aren't used to.

The most substantial criticism is that they contain a lot of inflammatory seed oils.

I’m not a ā€œconservative.ā€

When I say ā€œdisgustingā€ I am referring to their disgusting taste, the disgusting way they are made/ingredients they contain, and the disgusting amount of money pumped into these companies in an era of cheap money.

Hope this clears up any confusion šŸ¤™

Just wondering what the difference jn money/ pollution pumped into these vegetarian brands compared to commercial farming? Any idea?

Ps I think Impossible is delicious

These new plant based meats are probably worse per pound, but it's very difficult to get an accurate accounting. One thing we know is that they aren't vectors for pandemics, though.

I'm with you about Impossible being good. Not a fan of Beyond, though.

I'd be shocked if walker has tried them.

Pollution wise they’re lightyears behind farming in terms of damage

Doesn't explain why you, and so many others, feel like posting about it in the first place. In terms of market share, these are insignificant products, which almost no one even eats.

I stand by the fixation being bizarre.

Pork is disgusting

They use words like ā€œImpossibleā€ and ā€œBeyondā€ because it’s impossible to make meat from plants and it’s beyond my comprehension why they think I would ever touch that garbĆ”ge.

In our stores that stuff is less touched than Bud Lite.

Why fake it. If it’s good sell it as it is. Something inherently odd about this product line.
