I like it. A lot of slogans oversell & have ended up harming more than helping. This does not. I'd maybe consider dressing up the wording a little, but keep the spirit. Something like 'Rebuilding social media, reshaping the web". I don't know, just a thought.

Well, the idea behind the wording as it is, is to from the get go frame is as 'Not a social media thing', but appearently 'innitialy a social media thing'.
Frankly on FOSDEM a banner with "Death to all APIs - Nostr" would probably be best.
