Been listening to Peter for years and I don’t think I’ve ever once done business with a company that has advertised on his show. Sometimes as a consumer the failure lies with the victim of the scammer, not the podcaster that sold ad space in good faith. Dyor, and whatnot.
Agree. It’s like saying I’m responsible for the abuses of Nike and Nestle if I take them on as sponsors. If that is our standard, then deny every advertiser because chances they are doing something terrible directly or indirectly. Or just ban football (soccer) because it’s all sponsored by the multinationals and literal slave labor.
Sure… DYOR. But Pedro was still shilling blockfi as they were going insolvent. Plenty of warning from lots of very smart people yet he kept them on as sponsors. People lost money in Compass and Gemini as well. Seems unethical to me 🤷♂️
