The #EU has a population over 450 million now, not including the candidate countries (they put us over 500 million), and its population has been steadily increasing. It is one of the most technologically advanced, educated, and wealthy regions, in the world.

Compare that to the USA (340 million, population stagnant, illiteracy plaguing over a β…• of the residents). And to Russia (less than 145 million, population collapsing, poverty rampant, mired in a set of pointless foreign wars).

We need to take ourselves more seriously. We need to negotiate harder. We need to produce more. We are our own best potential source of growth. We are our own biggest customers. We are the world's sleeping economic giant.

I strongly believe that Europe could be a world power but not the European Union as intended now, right now it seems that all the politics manouvers move towards a communism of the new millenium.

"communism" lol

you don't know what you're talking about

That’s why I called it the communism of the new millennium

The similarities between where the EU is heading & how Russia ruled the Soviet Union in the 60s & 70’s is remarkably high.

I would have laughed at this statement a few years back.

The brussels totalitarians are grasping for ever more control, as nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe talks in his fiat vs deflationary system thesis, and as we are all witnessing in real time.

EU is positioning to see through what Gosbank didnt have the tech for - subordination by way of controlled and monitored digital currency. The China model is too tempting for the ursuloids.

Thankfully there is a digital frontier where individuals and families can peacefully defend their freedom.

Technologically advanced in what sense? The EU has regulated everything in such a crippling way, that it literally missed most of the tech trains.

The EU's population growth has been primarily fueld by _legal_ migration. People coming here, with the intent to be productive and to contribute to the local society. Often brought in by employers, spouses, apprenticeship programs, or on student visas.

This has been drowned out by the chaos on the borders: the EU is an attractive place to move to.

Even before the recent war, the largest origin country for EU immigrants was the Ukraine. It has always been the top country of origin.

This continued in 2023, where the top 10 were:

1. Ukraine

2. Belarus

3. India

4. Morocco

5. Syria

6. Turkey

7. Russia

8. China

9. Brazil

10. Afghanistan

if you count ukraine's war as having started with the Maidan Color Revolution before that it was not so much as after that time, because that drove a lot of ethnic russians out of the country. i know there was a lot before that too, the place has long been a shithole. first time i met a ukrainian it was a woman who married my father and a year or so later she divorced him (to be fair, he is a dick, but she was a shifty conniving bitch also). that was about 2007 iirc.

i remember back in like 2006 also meeting a very pretty girl from Kazakhstan, working in a fruit and vegetable shop. probably ethnic russian or ukrainian based on what a supermodel she was. there is also lots of trouble there related to the mix of russian and kazakh ethnicities and politics. also i had a huge crush on a girl who was from St Petersburg for some years between 2007 and 2009, she was an orphan, both her parents had died, something involving organised crime i think.

i was going to try and migrate to Ukraine back around 2017 or so. i'm glad i didn't lol.

by the way, "maidan" is an old word for a mine, or miners, i forget which exactly.

yeah, i learned that because i recognised "maidan" in the name of a mining town in central eastern serbia near the danube in the carpathian mountains. Maidanpek. it refers to the river that runs through it down to the danube. there is a big copper mine near the town. the word for river in most slavic languages is "Reka"

They started arriving en mass, after the wall fell. They've just always integrated so well, that nobody really noticed them. Most EU immigration is net-positive for the receiving country.

The question of open borders is a separate question from the immigration question, IMO. These are complex issues.

yeah, the problem is that you can't have welfare system and open borders, or people will come just for the free money, and then probably even just wire it all back home.

plus this kind of migrant tends to rent 3 bedroom apartments and have like 15 people live in it, because compared to the shithole they are used to, it's a huge space

plus not to forget there is also often animosity and envy in these people and sometimes it's justified by religion as well, i saw sunni muslims from north africa talking about how committing crime against europeans was jihad. even bulgarians.

Yeah, you can always tell which Europeans in such a debate are not really working class because they think foreigners are all really nice people, but some of them actually talk a lot of trash. πŸ˜‚

Yo, get out of your country club or university hall and down to the docks.

yeah, or the poor urban ghettoes full of enclaves of them. i guarantee you they will half get robbed, mugged, or walk around paranoid that someone is going to.

they are delusional, these people.

i was just reading also that 2/3 of germans approve of retarded green energy bullcrap. 3 years of recession after 2 decades of this crap, companies going bankrupt, more and more people ending up on welfare, yet still a supermajority approve of it. never underestimate the ability of brainwashed people to accept living in hell because of reasons that they refuse to actually examine closely.

i'm stuck with a vegan housemate, also, and the thing that i've always observed with this is they are full of aversions. myself, i had to fight a lot of aversions to switch to a diet that wasn't leading to chronic asthma and rashes all over my arms and feet and hips. once people have got fear conditioning wired up, it's very hard and scary to get rid of. the only thing that finally ends a regime of this kind of shit is where a lot of these fear burdened people actually die and those who have always opposed it or chose to fight it help bring on better times.

but it's probably going to get a lot worse yet. brainwashed drones are a lumpen group that mostly won't wake up until you hit them with so much pain they realise the pain in their minds is an obstacle.

It sounds really good and the final victory is always just around the corner. You know how we be. Endless hopium.

Also gives people the illusion of control. Putting up windmills is akin to buying recycling bins. The windmill sometimes doesn't produce enough energy to justify its existence, and the recycled items just go into the incinerator or on the trash heap, but at least you did something.

yeah, that whole meme of "small actions bla bla bla" it's about giving people an excuse to be complacent about the big things they do

also, it is precisely the same psychology that allowed aztecs to tolerate the constant murder of their children to stop the sun from getting angry and ruining their crops. EXACTLY THE SAME. and they acquire it through the same mechanism. repeat the big lie over and over again, and eventually everyone will submit to it if they don't learn something that proves it wrong. the prospect of climate disaster is constantly waved in people's face and implied that humans will cause it, when the reality is humans only cause disasters when they believe bullshit and continue to act in contradiction to reality.

what makes me extra mad about all this is in fact, the holocene, this current era, the name of an interglaciation. you look at the history of earth's temperatures and warm periods like this are the exception. more than half the time, the planet is covered in ice down to the tropics.

there is ZERO chance that humans can cause an extended period of warm with pole caps like we have now. if only we could. that would actually be good. the reality is that all the signs are there that within a few hundred years the cold will fully return and there's nothing we can do to stop it. but if what they said about methane and CO2 were true, we should be doing MOAR not less. more cow farts, more - clean burning - electricity generators and cars and ships and planes. satellite images of the planet's green cover have shown that over the last 50 years the amount of biomass has dramatically increased, and this has also resulted in increased crop yields, and everything.

the official narrative is precisely the opposite of reality. we actually will stave off the glaciation for a while if we don't stop burning carbon. maybe indefinitely, so long as we find efficient ways to recapture the carbon from the atmosphere as well, to make back into fuel. now that's a use for solar energy i can get behind. and what nature already does. more carbon above ground and in the air means more plants, plants hold water, and water in plants helps drive the hydrological cycle and holds heat in the ground for longer so it is less likely to freeze.

I've given up trying to make sense of any climate discussions. First, they told us that we would all freeze, in the new ice age. Then they said the ozone layer would disappear. Then they said that the Earth would turn into a flaming ball and melt, but that the sea levels would rise and the Alps would become islands.

I don't think anyone actually knows, either way. They're all just sort of guessing and extending trend lines out to forever, choosing the direction up/down depending upon whether they want to sell us windmills or oil.

I've ceased to care. I just want nuclear power stations.

the science is advancing. it's just the media doom porn and political manipulation. we are definitely heading for a cooldown. not in our lifetimes tho, probably maybe up to 1000 years or so.

what is more pressing and growing more certain is that there is a magnetic reversal coming, the earth's magnetic field is being interfered with and there is also good evidence for the idea that it could cause a catastrophic slip of the earth's crust to match the new magnetic field orientation emanating from the rest of the galaxy.

this slip could explain what happened in the time of Noah, and it generally does often lead further to a large number of big rocks forming after the sun has a giant burp caused by its own magnetic field reorienting to the new phase. then those rocks hit everything and stir up a lot of dust, and meanwhile earthquakes and volcanoes fill the atmosphere with dust and shade the sun.

there is of course much differing theories about it but i'm convinced that the global flood did happen, too many disconnected societies reported similar events, and 12000 years ago very old stories about "fiery dragons streaking across the sky" and the sun turning blue and "evil" and people dying. these all fit with the superflare/micronova scenario, and the geomagnetic shift is definitely happening.

the one thing for sure, that you can see easily looking at that path of the magnetic north, is that it's accelerated in the last 400 years how fast it moves.

when this happens, the magnetic shield of the earth stops working and a lot more energy from space and the sun gets into the atmosphere, which usually leads to more storms, rain, earthquakes and volcanoes. and if it does go towards the current equator, then it is even worse than that - much of the habitable parts of the planet will be exposed to a lot of ionizing radiation as well on top of all the rest, meaning that there will be mass die-offs of forests and people will die (most often from radiation sickness and cancer).

there is a whole slew of discoveries around magnetic pole orientation preserved in the volcanic formed rocks that eruptions happened more frequently during this time, and further, it is this periodic increase in radiation and CMEs that causes a massive jump in the amount of Carbon 14 which completely destroys the validity of carbon dating, because some of the fossils (probably all) form during times of high solar flare and low protection from plasma flying away from the sun that the concentrations of C14 are massively increased during a short period. thus you can't use C14 ratios as a reliable measure of time because we haven't fully characterised the deposition rate of it.

the 6000 years of earth thing probably is a reference to a periodic reversal and even, if you think of the first chapter of genesis, it could describe the situation from the beginning of the global flood (after all the crust shifts, and all the land is inundated) and then slowly over days, first, the water starts to part over the land, the clouds clear on the second day, third day, then the fish and animals crawl out from their holes in the high ground, and so on and so on. possibly genesis specifically is describing what happened 12000 years ago, and then after that, we have adam, and then 6000 years ago noah. also, it was not long after that, that sodom and gomorrah got hit with probably meteors and similar catastrophy on babylon. i do think that the global pole shift does happen every 6000 years though, and for about 1000 years after it, everything is bad, cold, cloudy, and nasty stuff falling out of the sky.

Germany has gone totally schizophrenic on Ukrainian immigrants, with this last wave. Basically, demanding that they not work and then paying them to stay unemployed. Whole thing is bizarre.

there has been like 4 generations of germans conditioned to be guilty about being white and german. ironically, ukrainians are probably even whiter than many germans.

national guilt complex. like somehow they are to blame.

in fact, of course the german government was involved with the operations to "liberate" the ukrainians from a russian-friendly *elected* government as part of the color revolution operation. so in some sense they are guilty, of not throwing out these disgusting socialist politicians.

What does the EU stand for today?

Endless Russophobic war, death by regulation, anti-human and anti-business prohibitive cost of energy policies, unaccountable central planning, anti-Christian, anti-European, pro-censorship, anti-feeedom policy.

> poverty Rampant

Spain: 20%

Italy: 20%

France: 16%

Germany: 14%

Russia: 11%

The EU of the 90s was already overblown, but still helped to deregulate Europe and make it a better place. If it would have only focused on deregulation and free trade within Europe it could have worked, but the socialist monster created over the last few decades will not be taken seriously by anyone.

And just for comparison: in 2010 The EUβ€˜s GDP was the same size as US. Now it’s half of it.
