Is there a cli tool that publishes an existing markdown file as a long-form note?

I wish I understood what you wrote. I’m old.

I think what nostr:nprofile1qqsxu35yyt0mwjjh8pcz4zprhxegz69t4wr9t74vk6zne58wzh0waycpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgtcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9thwden5te0dehhxarj9ehhsarj9ejx2a303dstl2 wants to achieve is to have a simple command he can give an input (existing .md file) and the destination (his own npub). That command would then publish the contents of a markdown file as a long form note to his profile.

In order to achieve that, the command would also need to authenticate, IIUC.

👀

Not sure what cli means.

I'm currently experimenting using Obsidian with the Community Plug-In called Nostr Writer. It allows for both long-form article and short-form note.

CLI stands for the command line interface. Aka the terminal.

Gotcha. Thanks 🙏

This plugin doesn’t work well for me. Stuck on loading workspace….

If you give me the spec, I’ll write a cli program for you

Conversely, is there a tool that would allow me to download my notes or someone else's entirely in markdown? I'm imagining using this as a backup tool that still allows users to read the notes in an easy, convenient manner.

Use nak?

I have the modular article writer, that's a CLI. I'm tweaking it to also publish 30041 alone, wiki pages, and long-form.

Is that the one you meant?

Will take a couple of hours, go finish.

We're going to have a GUI editor in Alexandria, that also publishes one event, but I wanted a CLI because then I can do batch processing and import entire libraries.

That looks like the thing I was looking for. Will give it a spin. Thanks!

Need to add the option for the type of kind. Was out grocery shopping and driving away the recycling. I'll @ you when I'm done.
